Ask anyone around — we’re passionate outdoor folks, always eager to be in nature, explore, and enjoy new experiences. Yes, that’s the traveller’s spirit running through our veins! We highly value our community and know that we’re on this Earth to create spaces for people to be, live, and celebrate on the land, in comfort and style.

Recently, we found ourselves at a crossroads wanting to start a local business, but wondering what we could provide. How could we narrow our skills and passions into a niche offering that combines the outdoors and community gathering? That’s when Lavish Canvas came into our lives, which revealed a way to blend all the things we love — nature, adventure, bringing people together — into something special for our area. It was an immediate “yes” for us.

how our story with lavish canvas came to be

Fate has a funny way of working its magic. We learned about Lavish Canvas tents in the fall of 2023, when we booked a magical glamping weekend for ourselves at a local campground. With core memories made, we couldn’t stop reminiscing about the luxurious weekend outdoors. Then, we happened to learn that the previous owner, Natalie, lived just down the street from us. Over multiple pots of tea and shared stories, a beautiful alignment emerged. Natalie passed the torch, and we embarked on this exciting new era of Lavish Canvas.

We’re proud to continue Natalie’s legacy, serving our Foothills community and bringing gatherings into nature, to celebrate all things life, love, and land.
